Using Patches With Reflexology
By Heidi Walter on Jan 14, 2010 in General
I have used the LifeWave patches now for more than 5 years and yet I continue to learn new ways to use them. One of these is incorporating reflexology into the way I use the patches. As you know, reflexology is the practice of applying pressure to reflex points on the feet, hands and outer ears to improve symptoms in other parts of the body.
Reflexology essentially taps into the body’s nervous system and reflex network. Stimulating pressure points on your hands and feet sends nerve signals to your internal organs to which the points are tied. This can have an immediate impact on your body.
For example, there’s a reflex point at the center of the top pad of each large toe. It corresponds to the pineal gland and a reflexologist could apply pressure to that pad to deal with insomnia, since one of the primary functions of the pineal gland is producing melatonin.
Reflexology has been used in Asia to handle ailments like insomnia but also for its anti-aging effects. It is thought that reflexology can actually cleanse bone marrow, making us look and feel younger.
You can use the LifeWave patches with reflexology in many ways but here’s an example:
- Place a WHITE Energy Enhancer patch on the bottom of the right foot and a TAN energy patch on the bottom of the left foot.
- OR, use 2 sets of Energy Enhancer patches, placing one WHITE patch on the top of each foot (positive energy) and one TAN patch on parallel points on the bottoms of each foot (negative energy).
